Chandran Nair is the Chief Executive Officer of Universal Vapor Jet Corporation (UVJC), where he leads the company to enable dry and patterned printing for next-generation manufacturing. Leveraging UVJC’s core competencies in precision deposition and thin-film jet printing, Mr. Nair is exploring opportunities in sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, life sciences, and more. Under his leadership, UVJC aims to push the boundaries of materials deposition technology, driving advancements in markets that require high-performance, scalable, and cost-effective production methods.

Mr. Nair brings extensive leadership experience of more than 26 years, together with his established operational expertise in global technology and equipment companies across Asia, Europe and the United States, to lead UVJC.

Previously, Mr. Nair was President & Chief Executive Officer at AEM Holdings, a Singaporean multinational technology company. Prior to joining AEM, Mr. Nair was President of the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Business Unit at ST Engineering and before that, he was Managing Director and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Asia Pacific (APAC) at National Instruments (NI). During his tenure at NI, Mr. Nair was responsible for the successful expansion of its business throughout the APAC region to customers in a variety of major industries.

Mr. Nair holds Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Arizona State University and Bangalore University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from Christ College, Bangalore University.

Steven V. Abramson is President and Chief Executive Officer of UVJC’s parent company Universal Display Corporation (UDC) (NASDAQ: OLED), a pioneer and leader in OLED materials and technologies.

Mr. Abramson’s influence and strong leadership were key in transforming UDC from an R&D startup of three people into a global trailblazer in the OLED ecosystem. His pivotal role in the formation and growth of Universal Display Corporation led to UDC becoming the pioneer and leader behind energy-efficient phosphorescent OLED materials and technologies, which produce the light and color in OLED displays. With a strong acumen for strategic planning and outstanding perseverance (it took 17 years before UDC turned profitable), Mr. Abramson led the company through its early challenges, cultivating long-term partnerships, and building a world-class talented team. Fast forward, and UDC’s innovations can now be found in virtually all OLED consumer products around the world, including smartwatches, smartphones, tablets, laptops, monitors, TVs, lighting, AR/VR devices, automotive displays and more.

Mr. Abramson is a remarkable entrepreneur who, prior to leading UDC, supported the creation and growth of new technologies such as digital cellular radio in the 1980s and development of sustainable environmental technologies in the early 1990s.

Mr. Abramson received his J.D. from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his M.A. in International Relations and Philosophy of Science from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and his B.A. in International Relations from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. He also serves on the boards of a number of charitable and educational organizations.

Chief Technical Officer, Universal Display Corporation

Julie Brown is Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of UVJC’s parent company Universal Display Corporation (UDC) (NASDAQ: OLED), a pioneer and leader in OLED materials and technologies. Since joining UDC in 1998, Dr. Brown spearheads the R&D vision of the Company, from its start-up years to its successful commercial present, and continues to create and shape the Company’s innovation strategy for its future growth. She has driven and advanced UDC’s technical vision and excellence to firmly position the Company as a leader in the discovery, development, and commercialization of state-of-the-art OLED technologies and phosphorescent materials.

Previously, Dr. Brown was at Hughes Research Laboratories, where she directed the pilot line production of high-speed Indium Phosphide-based integrated circuits for insertion into advanced airborne radar and satellite communication systems. Dr. Brown earned her B.S. from Cornell University and then was at Raytheon Company and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Dr. Brown received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Electrophysics from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Brown is an elected IEEE Fellow, elected SID Fellow, and inductee into the New Jersey High Tech Hall of Fame. In 2020, the Society for Information Display (SID) awarded Dr. Brown the prestigious Karl Ferdinand Braun Prize for her outstanding technical achievements and contributions to the development and commercialization of phosphorescent OLED materials and display technology. In 2021, Dr. Brown was elected to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE) for her contributions to materials and device technologies for phosphorescent light emitting diode displays, and their commercialization. The NAE membership honors those who have made outstanding contributions to “engineering research, practice, or education, including, where appropriate, significant contributions to the engineering literature” and to “the pioneering of new and developing fields of technology, making major advancements in traditional fields of engineering, or developing/implementing innovative approaches to engineering education.” Dr. Brown is a member of the board of directors of Adesis, Inc. and OVJP Corporation (UDC wholly-owned subsidiaries).

Gregory McGraw is UVJC’s Director of Technology. Dr. McGraw began his work on vapor jet printing as a graduate earning his Ph.D. in Applied Physics at the University of Michigan studying under renowned Prof. Stephen Forrest. Dr. McGraw’s research came to form the basis for what became Organic Vapor Jet Printing (OVJP) and now Universal Vapor Jet Printing (UVJC). Before joining UVJC, Mr. McGraw worked as a Principal Research Scientist at UVJC’s parent company Universal Display Corporation (UDC) (Nasdaq: OLED), a pioneer and leader in OLED materials and technologies. At UDC, he has focused on the commercial development of the Company’s novel vapor jet printing platform for thin films. In addition to his Ph. D., Mr. McGraw holds a bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College, a master’s degree from Cornell University, and previously worked at Sandia National Laboratory.

Dr. Pom Yuan Lam is the Director of Engineering at UVJC, where he leads advanced robotics and automation initiatives. Prior to joining UVJC, Dr. Pom served as a Principal System Engineer at Venti Technologies in Singapore, a global leader in AI-powered autonomous vehicle logistics.

Dr. Pom holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS). His doctoral research focused on mobile manipulator design for industrial applications, including autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), omnidirectional platforms, and wireless charging systems.

Michael Hack is Vice President of Business Development at UVJC’s parent company Universal Display Corporation (UDC) (Nasdaq: OLED), a pioneer and leader in OLED materials and technologies. Prior to joining Universal Display in 1999, he was associated with dpiX, a Xerox Company, where he was responsible for manufacturing flat panel displays and digital medical imaging products based on amorphous silicon TFT technology. Mr. Hack received his Ph. D. degree from Cambridge University, England and in 2007 he was elected a Fellow of the Society for Information Display. In 2014, Mr. Hack was nominated to serve on the board of the U.S. OLED Lighting Coalition to promote the advancement and commercialization of OLED lighting. Mr. Hack has served as a technology scout and led the evaluation team for Universal Display in a range of areas given his extensive experience with many thin film technologies, both organic and inorganic, as well as display technologies.

William T. Mayweather III is the Senior Director of Development at UVJC’s parent company Universal Display Corporation (UDC) (Nasdaq: OLED), a pioneer and leader in OLED materials and technologies. Since joining UDC in 2010, he has played a key role in advancing OLED intellectual property, licensing, and partnerships, contributing to deals exceeding $1 billion.

A seasoned executive with expertise in technology commercialization, Mr. Mayweather has built and led multi-national teams, managed global R&D programs, and structured high-value licensing and acquisition deals. His career spans leadership roles at L-3 Communications, Sarnoff Corporation, and Qualcomm, where he developed innovative semiconductor and digital signal processing solutions. He holds seven U.S. patents and has been recognized by the engineering honor society Eta Kappa Nu.

Mr. Mayweather holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from MIT and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. A former Air Force ROTC graduate and U.S. Air Force Reserve lieutenant, he has also held top security clearances.
